At a financial literacy class for women, a class participant told the group that her relationship with a man she was dating was starting to get serious. She felt they were very compatible and believed that the relationship was one that could become permanent.
“Do you think we should share our credit reports with each other?” she asked the group. After a moment of stunned silence, a resounding “yes!!” came from everyone.
Women then shared amazing stories with each other. One woman told us about how she was embarrassed to share her credit report with her significant other because she had gotten sloppy about paying her bills on time previously and those mistakes were still shown on her credit report.
